A cafe which locates the same row as Auction Rooms. Ah, North Melbourne has a lot of cafes and they're all just a few steps away from each other. This is another one that I have been wanting to try for long.  Sadly the mocha wasn't my type.  The chocolaty-o-meter for it is 3/10. I had to add two tablespoon of sugars though. But, for me, the highlight of this place is the Pancakes! They're to die for. It's really pretty to be eaten. Love how they stacked the pancakes and the amount of honey that they give is too generous seriously. I add on bacon as well for 4 dollars and it's worth it! Both sweet and savory craving satisfied. Not to mention the cream cheese that blend in well with the strawberries. It tasted like yogurt to me which is a good news for me as I am not a big fan of cheese either. Not to mention there's rhubarb hidden within the cream cheese too! Oh, I was so bloated after I was done with the dish.

October rants.

Oh yay October. Welcome back to my weekly rants. Where you get all the waiyan's bullshit. 1. So on that Sunday (28/9) , I was told to work last minute at the Take-Away section and nope, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. 2. Monday: Had a free screening pass to Gone Girl premiere (thank you Nuffnang!) at Village Cinemas, Jam Factory. Oh-so-tense movie starring Rosamund Pike, Ben Affleck and Neil Patrick Harris (who would have thought?). The ending of the movie is seriously so fucked-up LOL. As in the screenplay or the writer, which is Gillian Flynn, certainly did a good job on this. I swear everyone left the theatre speechless and stressful hahah. I guess I am one of the few pretty young audience there. Still, it's a good one! Thriller and twisted-endings lover must check it out! 3. I am officially a caffeine addict. I have to get at least a cup of mocha everyday. 4. Oh oh, I am so sorry to repeat this if you have followed me on social m

I love the cafe's name! Another cafe spotted in Church Street, Richmond. Heard pretty good reviews about this place and decided to give it a go. It was pretty packed for a Friday noon and me and my friend have to wait for 5-10minutes to get ourselves a spot. And yeap, we got a window seat which is perfect for me. My chocolaty-o-meter for the mocha that I ordered for Pillar of Salt is: 3/10.  Not too say that it's bad. It's all because Imma sweet tooth. I added two teaspoon of brown sugar and I love it instantly. The aroma of the coffee is pretty strong and after adding sugar, it was good. So for those who enjoy strong coffee taste, this place would be ideal for you I assume. It was noon, so we were only allow to order what's on the lunch menu. What caught my eyes is the Thai Red Duck Curry. I wouldn't have thought I would see brunch cafe will serve such dish.  I know it's a pretty funny combination having r

Back to my weekly ranting routine LOL. I find it really helpful to blurt it all out through this blog. Yay for that. Omg it's fucking week 10 now >:( . 2 more weeks till the end of semester 2. GAHHH. And I am still sitting here doing no shit sigh. 2 more assignments due this week! Watched Donnie Darko on Friday. Mind twisted as hell. The ending was bloody deep for me to understand though. Guess I have to watch it again. On the side note, Donnie Darko's chick is pretty hot. Anyway Jake Gyllenhaal and Maggie Gyllenhaal were pretty young back then. It's really amazing to see the real-life siblings get to act as each others' sibling in this movie as well. One of the quotes that I love:  & yeap, been having movie marathons lately oh nooooo.  Just finished The Prestige directed by Christopher Nolan! Can I just declare him as one hell of a movie god or something? He's so freaking talented I can't even. Get to see both Batman and Wolverine in this mo

Day 1: City Tour // Sydney Bound | 20140831

Hola. Finally had the mood to start blogging about my Sydney trip. So glad that everything turned out to be pretty well. I was never the planner and thank goodness, this trip didn't involve a big party either. I booked the flight ticket exactly one week before my trip to Sydney. I planned my itinerary the day before the trip LOL. But we manage to cover most of the places that I had plan on going, or I must say I went more places than I wrote down in my memo. So so proud of myself. Okay I should totally shut my mouth on being so boastful about myself heh. Meet my Sydney travel partner! The gorgeous harbour bridge too along with the fluffy clouds. Sigh. Missing Sydney. .................... So on the 30th August, we arrived Sydney airport around 10.30pm and we got ourselves straight to our backpackers hostel which is 10mins walk away from Sydney central. Nomads West End backpackers. Well, it's affordable but kinda dodgy for me hmm. Maybe it&#
