Williamstown Revisited

Image
Back in Williamstown. This time is just by myself. Walked the same old footpath that I shared with Jo. Dropped by the shopping precinct again. Had brunch all by myself. It wasn't so bad. Venturing out alone gives a different feeling and I enjoyed it! Had the amazing sherbet gelato. Walked along the footpath and saw a guy waving with his ice cream. Love how cheeky the people are. Friendly as well. First time blogging with my mobile phone. Till then xx.

Ramblings #4

Couldn't think of a suitable title for this blog post. Screw that. Just wanna summarize what had happened during today's road trip. Oh finally. A visit to Philip Island where the Hemsworth brothers are belong. Skipped class for this road trip and it was worth it! First time sitting in a Holden. But damn it, I didn't have my license with me if not I'll get my chance to break the I-have-not-drive-for-half-a-year chain! Brrrr. It was a real sunny day today. I am thankful. Clear skies and the wind was not that crazy. Drop by a farm on the way to Philip Island. Selfie-ed with a Lamar! Had a mango tango smoothie with real milky taste. Damnnn. The smell of the farm. Cow smell LOL. Met Panny (from a distance/next to our table) at Panny's Chocolate Factory. And Panny is an Malaysian born Indian. Malaysia boleh! Had King Prawn curry in a chocolate factory LOL. Irony. But they serve pretty good curry rice. Lost my student ID and oh well, I seriously have no idea wh

Three Bags Full | 20140827

I'm back with Three Bags Full this time. Took the train towards North Richmond station and a short walk towards Nicholson street lays a pretty spacious looking cafe at the corner of the street. Manage to get ourselves a seat by the window and yay, loving the sun that keeps us warm. It was around lunch time so we were able to order from the lunch menu. But the Wagyu beef burger was the special for that day. I rate the mocha 7/10 according to the chocolaty-o-meter heh. And plus one for the marshmallow! Love it when cafes served mocha with marshmallows or other condiments that goes well with it. The service was pretty quick. I waited for ten minutes for the food to arrive and bam, I was surprised by the size of the burger! I swear the beef patty was the best I ever had. It was minced but in the mean time, JUICY. I thought it was going to be dry from the way it looked but I was so wrong. And oh, the juiciness is totally differen

A very productive food and suburb hunting today! I am really grateful to have a friend that was kind enough to accompany me to do all this shit randomly because i normally go around places based on my gut feeling. At first, it was just a usual brunch thingy but after that, we went to Melbourne Museum because we can and then, Port Melbourne, just because I feel like it. But today's weather was pretty bad, raining non-stop. It was no big deal because Aussie's rain are not as strong. You can call it a pussy rain if you were to compare to Malaysia's. I am serious. Anyway, it's not the rain that's scary, is the crazy-ass wind here. IT'S COLD. We walked all the way from Port Melbourne to South Melbourne, just because I feel like it LOL. I am a terrible friend I know. Bla bla bla. Explored 4 different makan place today and was pretty satisfied.  Melbourne Museum is amazing! The best museum that I've visited so far? And yessss, it's FREE for me ngehehe. Becau

dimples.

I'm dying. constantly thinking about exploring food but not focusing on my studies. This is baaaaaaaad. Random ramblings again. 1. Dimples. YES. Imma sucker for dimples. Especially Miranda Kerr's. She's got dimples on the perfect position and both of her cheeks! how can someone be so perfect omgggg. I got a dimple too! But i bet no one even noticed about it because it's on the right side of my cheek and I hate the right side of my face. Oh life. So gorgeous right right right? 2. Loving the spring's vibe. Got so excited when I saw any cherry blossoms along the street. It's so pretty! If only imma guy I could just pluck it and use some pickup lines to pick up some chicks by the road side. Sounds like a plan ei? 3. A little ang moh boy (okay maybe not so little, i think it's around 7 years old?) said "xie xie!" to me after I served him his banana fritter with ice cream. His parents were laughing so proud and caressed his head after h

Still couldn't pronounce the cafe's name right heh. It's a French term call the honey and the moon.  Have been wanting to visit this place for a REAL long time but I got lost every time I try searching for it. I made it that day! along with 2 of my brunch pals. It's all the way down when we were walking from the CBD and it locates the street between lygon street and Melbourne uni. GAHHH As usual, mocha! My rating for the chocolaty-o-meter for this place is a 6.5/10. For my breakfast,  I ordered the pork belly potato hash. The goodness of the sauteed mushrooms. Normally, I'm not a fan of sauteed mushrooms because of the REAL strong garlic taste but this one is just right! Okay, the spotlight ain't the mushrooms but the potato hash and pork belly! The sauce drizzled on top on the stacks of fried yet not-so-crispy pork belly right on top of two potato hash.  Anyhow, the coffee beans here are supplied by Prou
